Friday 25th September and Saturday 26th September

We are delighted to welcome you to visit The Blue Coat School in Oldham, Greater Manchester as we open our doors on:

Friday 25th September 2026 (9:55am – 3:20pm, by appointment only, for families who require a quieter environment)

Main Open Day – Saturday 26th September 2026, 9:30am – 12pm (no booking required).

Our appointment only Open Day on Friday 25th September 2026 is an opportunity to see our school in session and attend our Headteacher’s talk. This event is most beneficial for families who require a quieter environment. Please note that on this date, priority is given to families with a child applying for entrance in September 2027 (for children born between 1st September 2015 & 31st August 2016).

Our main Open Day event is on Saturday 26th September 2026 (9.30am – 12.00pm). Places are not limited on this date, and no appointment is required.

About the Open Days

During our Open Days, you will have the opportunity to explore our school, meet our dedicated teaching staff, and experience the vibrant learning environment that sets us apart. We have a strong focus on academic excellence, individualised support, and a nurturing community, ensuring every student becomes everything they can be, and everything they are meant to be.

Friday offers the chance to explore in a quieter environment. There are 40 places available on each session, so please book one ticket per family. You will need to bring your ticket to the event for access to the school site.

If you wish to attend our Friday Open Day, simply register using your child’s name. One ticket will cover your child and family, no separate registration is needed per person. Book via TicketSource by registering your details, and please bring your digital ticket on Friday 25th September.

Appointments are not required for our main Open Day on Saturday 26th September.
