Open Days
We are delighted to welcome you to visit The Blue Coat School Oldham as we open our doors on:
- Friday 25th September (9:55am – 3:20pm, by appointment only, for families that require a quieter environment)
- Main Open Day – Saturday 26th September (9:30am – 12pm, no booking required)
Our Open Day on Friday 25th September 2026 is an opportunity to see our school in session. Please note that on this date, priority is given to families with a child applying for entrance in September 2027 (for children born between 1st September 2015 & 31st August 2016).
Our main Open Day event is on Saturday 26th September 2026 (9.30am – 12.00pm). Visitors will have the opportunity to explore our school site, meet our dedicated teachers and enthusiastic students. Throughout the morning, there will be 3 opportunities to hear a welcome talk given by the Headteacher. The talks will take place at 9.30am, 10.30am and 11.30am. Please head to our main reception upon your arrival.
Please note that places for our Saturday Open Day are not limited, so you do not need to book a place.
This event will give prospective parents and their children an understanding of the vision and values of our school.
About the Open Days
During our Open Days, you will have the opportunity to explore our school, meet our dedicated teaching staff, and experience the vibrant learning environment that sets us apart. We have a strong focus on academic excellence, individualised support, and a nurturing community, ensuring every student becomes everything they can be, and everything they are meant to be.
FRIDAY 25TH SEPTEMBER ONLY: To secure your place, simply register using the student’s name. One ticket will cover the child and family, no separate registration is needed per person. To book, click the Ticketsource image to visit our bookings page, register your details and bring with you your digital ticket on Friday 25th September.
Appointments are not required for our main Open Day on Saturday 26th September.
