The Cranmer Education Trust are proposing to amend the admission arrangements for September 2023 entry into The Blue Coat School and are consulting with parents and other interested parties.
The policy changes relate to the reopening of Churches, in line with Government and Diocesan policy and the resumption of counting attendance at public worship as part of the over-subscription criteria from 31st October, 2021 for Christian applicants.
The revised policy and supplementary information form ensure that families who may be affected by temporary or partial Church closures are not disadvantaged. The policy already includes provision for individual exceptional circumstances.
The consultation period opens on Monday, 1st November, 2021 and closes on Monday, 13th December, 2021 at 3.30pm.
